Ramazan Started In Pakistan and In Other Countries

The moon of Ramazan was sighted in Karachi on 20th July and first fast will be tomorrow.

In the evening the meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee was held for watching the moon. The Meeting was held under the Chairman Mufti Munib-ur-Rehamn at Pakistan Meteorological Department.

Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman announced after a time that the moon is sighted in many parts of Pakistan like D.I.Khan. Muslims will be having their first fast on 21st July.

Many confirmations were received by the Committee from different areas that made the results to be announced.

After the announcement, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister gave the message on the arrival of Ramazan to the nation.

First Taraveeh was offered at the mosques by Muslims for their first Fast in Pakistan.

The Holy month of Ramazan has been started in European countries and in Saudia Arab.

He made announcement that Ramazan 1, 1433 Hijri, will fall on July 21, 2012.

The month of Ramazan started in Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen on July 20.
